Vet student opportunities!! Barn Cat Spay/Neuter program

We want to help mentor the next generation of Veterinarians. Twice a year Dr. Pleis takes vet students to Boone to float teeth and practice examines on horses. Any ISU veterinary student can contact Dr. Pleis to be a part of this experience.
Through out the year Dr. Pleis does barn cat spays and neuters allowing second half semester VM 2 and above students to practice and learn. Dr. Pleis is there to watch and help out, but allows the students do the procedures and learn.
Students that are interested can contact us and you will go on the list.
Barn cat owners can also go on the list and it is $25 per cat to cover the cost of supplies.
